Project: Bushfire Remediation Work
Year: 2020
Description: Bushfire remediation work on road easements between Tumut, Batlow and Tumbarumba. Savco had Mulcher Heads on Large Excavators, Large 30 inch Chippers, 30 metre EWP's and Ground Crew with Machine Assisted Tree Felling. Savco crews removing dead or burnt trees that posed a risk to the electricity network, roads and general public. These trees were edge of easement and access road marginal trees that were all quite large with the possibility to come in contact with the electricity network.
